Big E's House is a pet and people accessories company, that is named after our furry daughter, Elizabeth. Elizabeth is a Doberman who was rescued as a puppy by our close friends from their neighbor. Our friends noticed that a neighbor was breeding Dobermans and was mistreating the pups (and parents too). The breeder separated the pups from the mom early and locked them all under his house...and...this is the topper...he was only feeding them every other day or two. By his own admittance, his purpose was to make them meaner and more aggressive.

You have to understand here, that our friends are extremely involved in animal welfare and rescue, and have been known to have dog houses delivered to people they never met because they saw a dog outside (chained up) standing in the rain with no where to go. Their first reaction was to have the pups removed through a rescue group, but this breeder knew how passionate they are about dogs, and if something goes down, they would definitely be blamed. Since this breeder is a pretty hardcore ruff-neck, and our friends wanted to keep their house from mysteriously catching fire, they took another route. The dogs deserved justice, so our friends went to the breeder and offered to pay asking price for all the pups. Of course he agreed, and they took the pups home and had their vet check them out. All the pups, at only 8-10 weeks old already had skin and health problems. Our friends got them all healthy and placed the pups in great homes. They asked for nothing in return except to love and give them a great home. That's exactly what we did!

We had our eye on Elizabeth (Big E) from the beginning. She was the runt of the litter, and was actually named by our friends because of her regal appearance (Queen Elizabeth). She became our daughter, and without a doubt, has brought us an over abundance of joy. It is with the same spirit that Elizabeth continues to bring us daily that we bring you Big E's House. Big E's House is a place where you can get custom, handmade, leather goods for your furry friend (or child), and for yourself as well. Big's House is a very small operation from concept to development, and through to the delivery of our creations. We take pride in our products, and we want you to be proud of them too. All of us at Big E's house come from a creative environment, and we feel that we have brought a new twist to leather pet and people accessories.

p.s. You are probably wondering what happened to Elizabeth's parents? After the pups were all adopted, our friends went back and bought the parents too. They got the parents placed as well, thus shutting down the operation. Also, just to show you how big of scum the breeder is, he is now serving a prison sentence for attacking an off duty police officer. This officer was leaving his girlfriend's house...the breeders ex-wife. The breeder took a whippin' from the officer, and was sent to jail for his 3rd strike offense. Ain't karma great!

p.s.s. You are probably also wondering why we call her Big E? Well, its because those same friends had a daughter a few years back, and named her Elizabeth. In order to know who we are talking about when we say Elizabeth to each other, we call ours Big E, and theirs Lil E.
